7 – Bagnolo – Salò – Madonna del Rio and return
Path from Bagnolo which leads to Salò, passing numerous viewpoints, churches and waterfalls.
Description: the route leaves from Bagnolo, reaches the Stacca pass, La Coma and descends towards Salò. Walk along the lakefront up to the square known as the “Fossa”, take the Scala Santa, cross the highway and continue on to Renzano. At Madonna del Rio you can picnic and admire the year-round waterfall. Continue on to Milord until you reach Bagnolo. Environmental description: various types of mid-mountain features: meadows, damp woods, dry woods, wildflowers. Historical border markers, churches, village architecture, lake viewpoints and waterfalls are present. Equipment: plentiful water, energy bars, lightweight pack with waterproof poncho, flashlight, trail map, sack lunch. (You can also choose to have lunch at Salò). Trails: CAI 217B – 217 – 216.
