2 – Bagnolo – Montespino and return

Path that identifies various types of medium mountain environment: meadows, humid forests, arid forests, steep meadows, spontaneous flora.

Description. The route starts from Bagnolo and reaches the Guine Pass to continue on towards Cascina Trat (Trat farm) where you find  Fontana dei Manni. Take the trail for Sella di Selva Alta which takes you to Cascina Pozze and at Ruer de la Saetta take a left for Monte Farametto. Near the crest, take a right and follow the trail up to the Pass of the Buco del Tedesco. Continue along the Marmere crest reaching the Pass of the Buco del Gatto, from where you reach Monte Spino. From here you can go down by the Sentiero dell'Amicizia for the Passo di Spino, or alternatively go directly to the G. Pirlo rifugio. Continue on to Pirello, go down to Colomber, then Nizzola, until you reach Bagnolo. Environmental description: various mid-mountain environmental features: meadows, humid woods, dry woods, sloping meadows, wildflowers. Equipment: abundant water, energy bars, lightweight pack with waterproof poncho, flashlight, trail map. Overnight stay possible at Rifigio Prlo on weekends and during the week from June to September. In winter warm clothing and change of clothes. Sentieri Cai: 216-289-287A-287,280,217B Length of time: 10-12 hrs. Difficulty: very experienced hikers. EE=difficult
